Richard has been providing financial planning, estate planning, and developing and managing low to medium risk portfolios of income producing assets for the past 16 years. After becoming a Certified Financial Planner he began his wealth management and investment advisory career in 2000 with Lincoln Financial Advisors, Inc. (LFA), one of the nation’s premier high-end wealth planners. Richard moved his practice to Raymond James & Associates, Inc. in 2005 before co-founding Ironridge Wealth Management, LLC in 2013.
Prior to working in the wealth management industry, Richard served as Executive Vice President for the McGee Group, Inc. where he orchestrated the firm’s turnaround while simultaneously earning a Masters of Finance.
In the mid 80’s Richard became a Certified Public Accountant and became President and Chief Financial Officer of Nedlloyd Holdings (USA) Corp. a subsidiary of The Royal Nedlloyd Group a publicly traded transportation company.
Richard has been intrigued by the stock market since the 70’s, working as an economist for Robert R. Nathan & Associates, Inc. (RRNA) one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious firms of consulting economists. As a consulting economist, Richard prepared financial and economic analyses for the Fortune 500; prepared testimony for regulatory hearings before the FPC, FCC, and Congress; directed valuation studies in scores of legal proceedings for the country’s largest law firms; and, worked abroad in Nicaragua, Panama and Indonesia under the auspices of the US State Dept. or World Bank.
