Bennett H. Woodward, CFA

An award winning money manager and financial industry veteran, Ben began his career in 1982 at ING Investment Centre. While serving as the Chief Investment Strategist at ING, Ben managed equity, fixed income and balanced portfolios. He went on to receive the INDATA award for best 5-year performance out of 720 similarly sized pension funds. Ben became the equity investment officer for the $100 Billion Teacher Retirement System of Texas. Ben relocated back to Atlanta and joined GLOBALT Inc. as a Senior Portfolio Manager & Partner. Ben then worked for Raymond James & Associates for 5 years prior to co-founding Black Diamond Investment Partners which merged with Waterloo Capital Management in 2016.

Ben studied botany and bacteriology at DePauw University and completed his MBA at Emory University. He is a (CFA) Chartered Financial Analyst and is now studying for his (CMT) Chartered Market Technician.
